XONE is a modern metal band integrating elements of progressive rock, driven by story-oriented lyrics, expressed with a depth of passion, and delivering an eclectic but captivating sound that cuts across all musical borders.
Fans say XONE's influences, which range from Rush, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Evergrey, Pink Floyd, White Zombie, Van Halen, Tool, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Peter Gabriel, The Police, Godsmack, U-2, and more, can be heard in many different aspects of our music. The lyrical styles range from the re-telling of historical events, exploring the dimensions of both inner and outer space, to everyday relationship encounters, which touch a nerve that we can all relate to...
XONE began in summer 2003 when Vocalist/Guitarist Will Austin and Bassist Ted Heming began working together to build the foundations of what is now XONE's distinctive sound. Their common goal was to create a musical environment that transports the listener to a realm all its own. With the addition of Drummer Jason Seger in 2006, XONE continued it's campaign to bring their music to the masses.
XONE released their album “The 4th Dimension” in November 2008.
